WordPress Development

WordPress Development Services Built for Editors and Speed

Many WordPress sites slow down and become fragile as plugins and page builders pile up. We build lightweight custom themes with reusable Gutenberg blocks, replace unnecessary plugins with clean custom code, and set up caching, security hardening, and update routines. Editors get flexible page layouts without breaking the design.

  • ✓ Custom Gutenberg Blocks: Gives editors reusable layout blocks that always match the design.
  • ✓ Theme Development: Builds lightweight themes without heavy page builders slowing pages down.
  • ✓ Plugin Development: Creates custom plugins for features off-the-shelf plugins handle poorly.
  • ✓ Headless WordPress: Serves content through APIs to Next.js front ends or apps.
  • ✓ Security Hardening: Limits login attempts, enforces updates, and restricts file permissions.
  • ✓ Multilingual Sites: Sets up WPML or Polylang for content in several languages.

Drupal Development

Drupal Development Services for Complex Content Platforms

Universities, public bodies, and large companies often manage thousands of pages across languages, departments, and permission levels. Drupal handles this through structured content types, granular roles, and built-in multilingual support. We build custom modules, editorial workflows, and multi-site setups, and move Drupal 7 sites that are past end of life to current versions.

  • ✓ Structured Content Types: Models articles, events, products, and people as reusable content.
  • ✓ Editorial Workflows: Adds draft, review, and approval stages before content goes live.
  • ✓ Granular Permissions: Controls who can edit, publish, or view each content area.
  • ✓ Multilingual Content: Uses Drupal's core language modules for translated pages and interfaces.
  • ✓ Multi-Site Management: Runs several related websites from one shared codebase.
  • ✓ Drupal 7 Migration: Moves end-of-life Drupal 7 sites to current Drupal with content intact.

CMS Standards

CMS development built for security, speed, and easy editing

Open-source CMS platforms are common targets for attacks and quickly slow down when neglected. These four standards keep every site we build secure, fast, and simple to manage.

  • ✓ Security and Update Management: Core, themes, and plugins or modules are kept updated, with backups and monitoring for suspicious activity.
  • ✓ Performance by Default: Caching, image optimization, and lean code keep pages within agreed Core Web Vitals targets on every template.
  • ✓ Editor-Friendly Structure: Content types, blocks, and fields are designed so editors can publish confidently without breaking layouts.
  • ✓ Accessible, GDPR-Aware Sites: Templates follow WCAG 2.1 AA criteria, and cookie consent and forms are set up with GDPR requirements in mind.

Content Modeling

We define content types, fields, taxonomies, and roles so pages stay consistent as the site grows.

We train your editors, document the site, and provide updates, security monitoring, and improvements after launch.

Discuss Your Website

Should we choose WordPress or Drupal?

WordPress suits marketing sites, blogs, and content hubs where ease of editing and a large plugin ecosystem matter most. Drupal suits large, structured sites with complex permissions, editorial workflows, many languages, or several related websites managed from one codebase.

Can you migrate our site to WordPress or Drupal?

Yes. We migrate pages, posts, media, users, and metadata from other CMS platforms, map old URLs to new ones with 301 redirects, and check that forms, search, and integrations work before switching traffic to the new site.

Our Drupal 7 site is no longer supported. What should we do?

Drupal 7 reached end of life in January 2025, so it no longer receives official security updates. We assess your content and custom code, then migrate to current Drupal or, if a simpler platform fits better, to WordPress.

How do you keep WordPress and Drupal sites secure?

We keep core, themes, plugins, and modules updated, remove unused extensions, enforce strong logins and limited permissions, and set up backups and monitoring. Custom code is reviewed before release, and security updates are applied promptly under a maintenance plan.

Can you build a multilingual website?

Yes. Drupal includes multilingual support in its core, and on WordPress we use established tools such as WPML or Polylang. We set up translation workflows, language switching, and URL structures that search engines handle correctly.

What is headless WordPress or Drupal, and do we need it?

Headless means the CMS manages content while a separate front end, often built in Next.js, displays it. It suits sites that need top performance or share content with apps. For most marketing sites, a well-built traditional theme is simpler and enough.

Will our team be able to update the site without developers?

Yes. We design content structures and blocks around how your editors work, set roles so people see only what they need, and provide training and documentation at handover. Developers are needed only for new features or structural changes.

How much do CMS development services cost?

Cost depends on the platform, number of templates and content types, custom features, integrations, languages, and migration scope. Hosting and premium plugins are separate costs. We provide a scoped estimate after the content audit and platform recommendation.
